As we expand our network in Asia, we’re looking for an Air Freight Forwarding Coordinator in Shanghai to strengthen our growing operations team and ensure seamless, high-performance global deliveries.
Your Role : As an Air Freight Forwarding Coordinator, you will oversee end-to-end air transport operations — from client request to final delivery. You’ll analyze shipping options, manage partners worldwide, and ensure time-critical shipments are executed efficiently and on schedule.
Air Freight Forwarding Coordinator
We are seeking an Airfreight Forwarding Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will handle client requests, analyze and recommend optimal delivery options, cost out these options, and ensure that all transportation requirements are fulfilled to meet the agreed deadlines. You will work closely with our partners in China and Worldwide to provide seamless door-to-door service, overseeing every step of the process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client requests and identify their transportation needs
- Analyze air freight options, providing clear, cost-effective recommendations
- Calculate and communicate delivery costs, timing, and plans
- Coordinate approved shipments with carriers and agents globally
- Monitor door-to-door progress and proactively resolve any issues
- Collaborate with Flash teams across Europe and Asia for smooth execution
- Maintain accurate records and uphold service quality standards
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in air freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL operations (5+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of air transport processes and global trade documentation
- Proficient in cost analysis, time estimation, and shipment coordination
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with TMS or freight management systems (e.g., CargoWise) is an advantage
- Language skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English
Working Hours & Location
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30
- Based in Shanghai city center
